Senator Schatz COVID Relief Meeting with Restaurant and Small Business Owners

Senator Schatz will be hosting a Zoom meeting for restaurant owners on March 17 and for other small business owners on March 24.  The Senator will give an update on federal COVID relief efforts and take questions and feedback.  Information on both meetings is below, and we would ask for your help in spreading the word.

All Hawaii restaurant and small business owners are invited to attend, but registration is required.  Unique login information will be sent to each registrant, so please share this email or the included registration links with those interested in attending the meetings not the login information you receive after registering yourself.  You will not be able to join the meeting if someone else uses your login information.

To maximize our time, we will create a list of those who submit their questions through the registration link or via email to me prior to the meeting, and start calling on those people to speak first.

The American Rescue Plan recently passed the Senate, and it is expected to easily pass the House and be signed by the president in the coming days.  This legislation includes several updates to relief programs for small businesses, including a new restaurants grant program.  Information about all of the federal relief programs for small businesses is available here: www.schatz.senate.gov/coronavirus/small-businesses
