Membership Networking Meetings

The Filipino Chamber hosts once-a-month networking meetings to allow members to network with one another, learn new information from guest speakers, and learn ways to participate in with the Filipino Chamber.  These meetings allow members to become engaged with the organization and gain the most of their membership.  Meetings are typically held on the 2nd Wednesday of the month (unless otherwise noted on the official FCCH Calendar) and cost $25 (includes dinner).

Workshops & Seminars

As part of its mission to strengthen the professional standing of its members, the FCCH periodically holds and participates in workshops and seminars on a variety of topics such as the economy, international trade, financial services, etc.  Past seminars/webinars include Online Fraud Protection, Ways to Improve the Energy Efficiency of Businesses, and Buying Real Estate in The Philippines.

Government Affairs

Government Advocacy plays an important part of the FCCH’s value.  Our most notable government affairs activity has been our annually-hosted Legislative Forum where Senators and Representatives from the Hawaii State Government are invited to interact with FCCH, Quad Chamber and Community partners to share what issues and initiatives will be focused on during the upcoming legislative year.  Additionally, the FCCH conducts research and activities to stay aware of government legislation that may affect members and member businesses.  The FCCH works to provide crucial input on bills and initiatives that are introduced during the annual legislative session of the Hawaii State Government.

Community Partnerships

The FCCH regularly works with community organizations that share similar goals within the Filipino and business community.  Through our community partnerships, the organization has been able to be visible in many viable community events such as forums with political candidates, the annual Filipino Fiesta and the Sakada Day Celebration. Partners of the FCCH include the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii, the Quad Chambers (Chinese, Korean & Japanese), the Filipino Community Center and the Philippine Consulate General of Honolulu.
