On April 27, 2018, Friday, at 6:00 PM, the Filipino Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii will hold its Annual Entrepreneur of the Year and the new Business Executive of the Year Recognition Night at the Ala Moana Hotel, Hibiscus Ballroom. This gala event honors the spirit of Filipino business in Hawaii as it relates to the over 25% of Hawaii’s population that trace its heritage back to the Philippines.
Entering another fruitful year, the Filipino Entrepreneur of the Year award will acknowledge the successful individuals who exemplify the true spirit of entrepreneurship thru hard work, resilience, and a desire to give back to the community. Similarly, recognizing the rise of Filipino talent over the years within Hawaii’s top companies, the FCCH is proud to announce, for the first time ever, the awarding of the Filipino Business Executive of the Year. Finally, through the FCCH Foundation, outstanding high school seniors will also be recognized for their academic excellence and worth as future community leaders through the
awarding of scholarships.
The Filipino Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii has provided leadership among Hawaii’s Filipinos as the voice of Filipino business in Hawaii. Programs and activities like the FEOTY (Filipino Entrepreneur of the Year), assist in the promotional growth of the members, strengthen business links between Hawaii and the Philippines, and help businesses understand the value of the Filipino community of Hawaii.
